With calving season approaching, here’s three of the key methods to prepare your Moocall Calving Sensor in advance of using the system.

Charge
Plug your sensor in for 4 to 5 hours or until the LED shows a solid green colour indicating it is fully charged.
Power On
After plugging your sensor out of the charger, you can power on by holding the button for 5 seconds. From here the LED will flash through the multicoloured sequence until the network is found, then it will flash blue intermittently.
Test
Test your sensor, by holding down the power button for one second, releasing it, and holding down the button again for one second. The LED will flash green rapidly and an SMS will be sent to phones connected indicating everything is connected correctly.
Remember, always replace the charge cap on the device before placing the sensor on a cow.
