This innovative new rubber has a brand new design in red, and it is designed to be worn looser on the tail. You don't need to use the ratchet system. Simply pull the strap through by hand and that should do the trick.
You should be able to slide the sensor up the tail, but you will notice it will not slide back down due to the 'fins'.
More comfortable for the cow, easier to attach and better grip.
