02 - HOW IT WORKS
On the tail in a minute
Four simple steps between you and a full night's sleep.

Charge it up
Give the sensor a full charge before the season starts. One charge lasts over four weeks of monitoring.

Switch it on
Press and hold the button for 3-4 seconds until you see multi-coloured red, green and blue lights. This means the sensor is searching for a cellular network. Once connected, it will flash blue every 4-6 seconds.

Fit it to her tail
Fit the sensor securely to the tail, opposite the vulva. Make sure it is not fitted too tightly and that the red rubber does not overlap.

Get the text
Sends an alert 1-2 hours before she calves. Notifications are through SMS texts (up to 2 phones), email and app alert.

The calving sensor renews at €166/$150/£120 per year after the first year.
The HEAT collar renews at €350/£255 per year after the first year. It's currently not available in the US.
The renewal covers cellular connectivity, access to the Moocall software and ongoing customer support.
A 10% discount is applied to the annual renewal fee when you have more than one Moocall device.
