Here is a table showing reproductive performance being achieved by a sample of Moocall Heat users.

The main breeding targets for a Spring Calving herd are:

  • 90% of cows submitted for service in the first 3 weeks of breeding
  • A six-week in-calf rate of 90%
  • An empty rate of less than 10% after 12 weeks of breeding

These figures are based on research carried out by Teagasc and underpin profitability on Irish dairy farms.

In order to reach these targets a combination of management in terms of cow nutrition, genetics and heat detection is required.

Moocall HEAT users are consistently achieving and exceeding reproductive targets through highly accurate heat detection and by eliminating missed heats.
